Dragonfly Africa, a specialist DMC, with over 30 years experience in tourism to Southern Africa, is ideally placed to assist discerning clients and corporates, for special arrangements surrounding Soccer World Cup in South Africa, in June and July 2010.

Over this period, the major hubs of Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Durban, are in huge demand. As a result, accommodation, particularly in the 4 and 5 star category, are at an absolute premium. A great deal of accommodation is being held by FIFA to cater to sponsors, teams and their families, media and broadcasting, as well as FIFA officials. The balance of accommodation will be split between over 150 tour operators, as well as existing DMC’s such as ourselves.

Dragonfly Africa, in anticipation of the demand, has secured limited, but sought after blocks of accommodation, at well located hotels and lodges in Johannesburg, Cape Town and near the Kruger National Park.

Please note that we are obligated to give preference to corporates, FIT’s and sports operators, utilizing our accommodation blocks, for transport logistics and general ground arrangements. Therefore, it is unlikely we will be in a position to assist for requests entailing only ground arrangements. Accommodation is available in packaged blocks, based on the various matches. While a packaged block can not be reduced or amended, it can certainly be linked to a consecutive block.
