Delaire Graff Wine Estate
Yolanda Woeke-Jacobs recently visited the revamped Delaire Graff Wine Estate. She said: “This is truly one of the most amazing new venues in the wine lands and I can highly recommend this to FIT’s for a lunch option and for groups for either lunch or dinner.” The wines from this Estate are wonderful – The Delaire Sauvignon Blanc 2009 has gained the unique distinction of being awarded 5 stars in the 2009 'WINE' Magazine Sauvignon Blanc Top 10 Challenge. The prestigious 5 star rating has only been extended to a total of 5 Sauvignon Blanc's in the 16 years history of the WINE Magazine by their distinguished panel.
But the most impressive thing here is the absolutely gorgeous views.
Delaire is located on the crest of the panoramic Helshoogte Mountain Pass, Stellenbosch. Their unique location is noted for its high altitude vineyards, excellent soils and cooling sea breezes. The estate's location paired with a 230 ton wine cellar, one of the most advanced in the Southern Hemisphere, ensures that Delaire Wines continue to improve year on year.
The spectacular Restaurant and Tasting Lounge has been designed by the world famous Interior Designer and Architect David Collins of London. The Delaire restaurant and tasting lounge experience promises to be world class...

TASTING ROOM: (as a function venue)
40 seats inside
40 seats outside under the pine trees on the deck
This is a tasting room during the day but at night can be used as a private function venue. This could also be a tasting venue at night for a group eating in the Restaurant or the Vinotique.
VINOTIQUE:
This is a private dining area – with a long table that can seat 18 – 20 people. This would not be ideal during the day as the views are just too amazing to miss. At night it could be a great option for a private dinner. It has its own satellite kitchen and bathrooms. It makes for a very intimate experience with a beautiful fire place and a big wooden table with leather chairs.
HOTEL AND SPA:
This will open in March 2010. It will have 8 luxury suites and 2 presidential suites. Each of the 10 suites will have private plunge pools and once again views to die for - you can see as far as Cape Point!
